WINAMAC - The 6th Hoosier North Athletic Conferene Meet was held Saturday at Winamac Park. The course proved fast for the second time this week as nine Trojans posted thier fastest times of the season and four setting personal records at the conference championship. Senior Brandon Kitch claimed an All-Conference nod with his eighth place finish (18:39 *SB). The Lady Trojans earned two spots on the All-Conference team with freshman Jocelynn Faulkner's fifth place finish (20:28 *PR) and Annie Hill's sixth place finish (22:02 *PR).
The girls edged North Judson by one point to take the fourth spot on the team podium. Others contriubting to the team effort were juniors Makenna May (25:00), Valerie Eib (25:34 *SB), and freshman Anna McIntyre (27:05 *PR). Sophomores Tyler Gladieux (19:56 *SB) and Cory Hill (20:02 *PR) alongside seniors Trent Barnhart (21:42 *SB) and Parker Alford (25:28 *SB) went the distance for the boys.
Caston claimed the boys team title and Winamac the girls. Warriors Kolbey Wegner (17:03) and Kate Collins (19:44) ran to the top of the podium to claim the titles of male and female conference MVPs.
