The Triton High School Girls Wrestling Team made history by winning the Hoosier North Athletic Conference (HNAC) tournament during their Inaugural year this Thursday, narrowly defeating North Miami by one point! The Lady Trojans delivered impressive individual performances, with three juniors—Macy Carson (105 lbs.), Bailey Nicely (130 lbs.), and Rilee Bemish (135 lbs.)—achieving the All-Conference Champion title after placing first in their respective weight classes. Seniors Brooklyn Hiber (115 lbs.) and juniors Emma Tobolski (145 lbs.) and Jazmin Lemler (170 lbs.) received All-Conference Honorable Mentions after claiming second-place finishes.
Additional standout performances included Braelyn Prater (3rd, 110 lbs.), Andrea Ford (3rd, 125lbs.), and Danica Moore (4th, 130 lbs.), who all contributed valuable points to Triton's conference victory!
This victory sets the tone for a bright future in Triton Girls Wrestling as they celebrate their conference championship win.
