BOURBON - The Triton Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Andy Barker as our next Varsity Football Coach. Andy is a Plymouth High School graduate from the class of 2000. He went on to play Football and received his Bachelor of Arts at Saint Joseph’s College. Coach Barker has been an Assistant Coach at Mishawaka Marian, South Bend Riley, Plymouth, and most recently helped out at Triton. Currently, Coach Barker works for the Indiana State Police Bremen Post District #24. He is married to Heidi Barker and they have 2 children, Drew and Laura. Athletic Director, Rodney Younis, stated “We would like to thank the interview committee for their hard work and efforts during this process. We are excited to have Coach Barker continue to build upon the culture of our Football Program. His vision of molding our young men not only on the field, but in the classroom and community as well as his attention to detail will make him a great fit for our program.” Andy Barker was approved as the Head Football Coach at Monday night’s school board meeting.
